Police want pizza the action

Police have launched an investigation after a black pinney was stolen from the La Porchetta restaurant on the night of the Cavs end of season do.

The cotton garment was reported missing on Sunday morning after restaurant staff turned up for work.

Scotland Yard was contacted by the manager, who said he suspected the 25 Cavaliers cricketers, who had enjoyed a raucous meal at the popular Stroud Green eaterie the night before.

Rumours that the pinney was spotted being worn by T Firmin in F Tant's house on Saturday night have so far proved unfounded.
